Academics and Instructional Design

My professional work has been focused on teaching, learning, and integrating technology into multiple aspects of Higher Education. My hands have been in all parts of the student experience, from orientation to graduation. I’ve designed and taught faculty development courses on online teaching and teaching in Active Learning Classrooms. I’ve also taught online, graduate-level courses in instructional design and educational technology. I’ve been a referee for EDUCAUSE Review, and a reviewer for the EDUCAUSE Annual Meeting, the EDUCAUSE Learning Initiative Annual Meeting, and the University of Wisconsin Distance Teaching and Learning Conference. I have a bachelor’s degree from Montana State University in Technology Education-Industrial Technology and a master’s degree from Montana State University Billings in Educational Technology. I have graduate certificates in Online Teaching and Learning from Montana State Billings and College Teaching from Montana State. My professional interests are in learning environments, student development, service design, and the business of Higher Education. My pronouns are he, him, and his.
